What inspired you to get into real estate, and what keeps you passionate about it?
I watched incredibly wealthy individuals and the worlds largest investment firm buy up properties during the recession. But as an employee, I struggled to buy my first home. I battled credit issues, fought for every cent I earned in pay from these massively profitable companies and once approved for a loan, had to bid against my own company. The day we closed on our first home, I gave my 2 week noticed and dove into the deep end of sales. I believe that land/home ownership is the single best way to transfer wealth and power back to individuals. It creates a safety net, generational wealth and is a great representation of the American Dream.

I took nearly a decade worth of experience working with investors and decided to learn everything I could about the sale side of things. Now, a decade into that journey, I am excited to lead a boutique brokerage that focuses on what I think has been lacking for most of us … A sense of community. I want to offer clear transparent guidance for our clients and agents. I want to be a safe space for people to explore their home ownership journey. A space where people feel safe to ask their questions and to dream big!

As markets change, prices ebb and flow, interest rates rise and fall, politicians come and go, we work diligently to maintain our mission, vision and values. What keeps my passion alive is the gift of creating deep personal relationships with all of our clients, agents and surrounding community. What a luck to be able to tie my passion, work and world all together in the same space. “

What’s your favorite local spot or hidden gem in our community?
This feels impossible to answer. It really depends on the time of day. Anchor house for morning coffee, Blue Rooster for mimosas, Doxsa for an amazing charcuterie board, Main Street Bistro for my favorite glass of wine (and my kids favorite candy wall), Crazy Taco for well … Tacos, The Scoop on Main for dessert. Don’t forget to stop in for weekend cinnamon rolls at Bonnie’s Buns. If you haven’t tried Purdy’s BBQ, do yourself a favor and head over. So good! What’s one thing every first-time buyer or seller should know before they start the process?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. As agents and lenders, our job is to make sure that you feel secure and educated. This is a big moment whether you’re buying or selling.
